Iowa Radiology operates a 14,000-square-foot imaging and diagnostic center within the UnityPoint Health Waukee Medical Park, part of a larger 72,000-square-foot multispecialty clinic. The center provides a full range of imaging services, including mammography, ultrasound, X-ray, bone density scans, CT, PET-CT, and MRI, with infrastructure designed to accommodate future equipment growth.

The design of the space places equal emphasis on accuracy and patient experience. Public areas and waiting spaces are positioned to take advantage of natural light and exterior views, creating a sense of openness and comfort uncommon in traditional imaging centers. Circulation paths are planned for intuitive wayfinding, and acoustics are carefully managed to reduce noise transfer, giving patients a greater sense of privacy. Treatment areas are configured for efficiency, while staff support zones allow providers to work seamlessly across multiple imaging modalities. Exterior elements, such as shading devices, support both comfort and energy performance while enhancing the building's visual character.
