Set inside a 6-story mid-century manufacturing building, the Courtyard at TechWorks keeps the industrial bones—tall volumes, robust structure—and pairs them with contemporary rooms, flexible meeting space, and trail-close access to downtown. The conversion anchors the TechWorks district alongside the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum, advancing Waterloo's broader riverfront revitalization. Designed and executed as a historic adaptive-reuse, the project delivers modern hospitality within a piece of the city's working heritage.
